The Typhoons open their registration for the Short Course (October to February) season as of August 1, 2010, and the coaching staff is yet again extremely excited about the team’s potential for the 2010 – 2011 season! With countless records broken, a high percentage of personal bests, and an dedication from our parents/families, we are looking to this upcoming season as being one of our best!

Short Course Season (October 4, 2010 – February, 2011)

- All swimmers must be full members of the Hamden North Haven YMCA
- New Typhoon Swimmers: have not swum for the Hamden North Haven YMCA Typhoons in any other previous season (short course or long course).
- Pre-Season clinic is included in registration for short course season! (pre-season clinic runs from September 20, 2010 – October 1, 2010)

The Hamden/North Haven YMCA Typhoons run a year-round programs which includes a short course season (October of the current year to February of the following year) as well as a Summer season (April to late July of the current year).
Along with these seasons, we provide 2 pre-season swim clinics that are intensive workshops on overall stroke, turn, start, and race techniques.
