The Hamden North Haven YMCA Swim Team (Typhoon Swimming) is looking to continue their success and accomplishments into the 2009/2010 Short Course Season! With one New England Regional Champion, and several other swimmers qualifying and participating, the Typhoons are very excited to see how much fun and excitment the team can create in the 2009/2010 season!

*all members of the Hamden North Haven YMCA Swim Team must be full members of the Hamden North Haven YMCA

*New Typhoon Swimmers = have not swum for the Hamden North Haven YMCA Typhoons in any other previous season (short course or long course). Seasonal swimmers (swimmers who have swam one or more individual seasons) are considered returning swimmers.

October 24, 2009 – National YMCA Virtual Meet (Northern Middlesex YMCA) (directions) – 10 and over swimmers

November 7 & 8, 2009 – Autumn Classic (Northern Middlesex YMCA) (directions) – 10 and over swimmers

November 14, 2009 – Away meet @ Farmington Valley YMCA

November 21, 2009 – Away meet @ Waterbury YMCA (directions)

December 5, 2009 – Away meet @ Wheeler YMCA

December 12, 2009 – Home meet with Mystic YMCA

January 9, 2010 – Home meet with Northwest YMCA

January 23, 2010 – Home meet with Northern Middlesex YMCA

February 6, 2010 – Home meet with Meriden YMCA

February 13, 2010 – Away meet @ Southington YMCA (directions)

February 19, 20, & 21, 2010 – Tentative Date for Yankee Cluster Championships

March 20 & 21, 2010 – Tentative Date for New England Regional Championships (Boston, MA) – Qualifying Times Needed
