PDF Last night’s Senior practice was unfortunately cut shorter than expected due to an unforseen circumstance. Fortunately, though, we were able to get back into the pool and modify our practice a little bit to fit everything in. The Silver group focused on their IM’s last night with almost everyone swimming them legally right now. Coach Elaina and I are definitely very proud of their progress with (what really is) the most difficult event for that group.

It wasn’t particularely the hardest practice with regard to the yardage (due to not having the pool for about 30 minutes), but it definitely raised the bar from where we were with regard to intensity of the swims.
Tonight, I will not be in attendance for the later practices as I have to attend a YMCA Yankee Cluster League meeting at the Middletown YMCA at 7:30pm. However, I hope everyone is having fun getting ready for their first meets coming up on November 8, 2008 where we will be swimming against the Mystic YMCA Swim Team! Go Typhoons!
