Dear Typhoons swimmers and parents:
Our swimmers did a great job during our first HOME meet last Saturday. We have a total of 5 swimmers who now qualify for the New England swimming championship in March.
Thank you SO much to all the volunteers who helped out and donated items. If you did not initial the sign up sheet next to the snack stand during the meet, please let me know. I will forward your request to the person responsible. DO NOT REPLY ALL.
Swim Meets
- Holiday practice schedule: Regular practices will be held Mondays to Wednesdays for the week of Dec 21-23 and Dec 28-30. There will be NO practices on Thursdays and Friday of these two weeks. Juniors are welcome to swim with Seniors on Wednesdays.
- All of the meet results, schedule, directions, and practice times are online at www.typhoonswimming.com.
- Results for Waterbury, Wheelers, and our first home meet with Mystics have all been posted (http://www.typhoonswimming.com/meets/meet-results/).

Applebees Fundraiser (January 2, 2010):
- The window for ticket sales is quickly closing. Please return all money and any unsold tickets to Kathy Garner no later than December 24. Applebees requires a headcount 1 week prior to the event. If you cannot find Kathy, please give the money and/or tickets to Andy, Kaitilin, or Nicole.
- For the day of the event, we are still looking for some volunteers to work at Applebees (please see gray highlights of the attached pdf document). For this fundraiser, the kids will do most of the work while parents are in a supervisory role. Each volunteer will be earning volunteer points and we encourage everyone to participate. It is a great team building experience! .
